The Business Services Team at the Workforce Development Center offers assistance with the following Training Subsidy programs:

• On-the-Job Training (OJT)-- up to 50% reimbursement of gross wages to offset the initial training costs of new, or in some circumstances, incumbent workers.
• Customized Labor Training (CLT) -- up to 50% match of eligible project costs for training employees in new technology, industrial skills, or manufacturing processes for businesses that are expanding, or locating their business in Wisconsin.
• Business Employees' Skills Training (BEST) -- up to 75% match of eligible project costs, not to exceed $1,000 per full time employee or $5,000 per business, for small businesses with 25 or less employees in specific industrial clusters.
• Wisconsin Technical College System -- A new initiative proposed by the State of Wisconsin, if approved, would provide assistance to businesses in acquiring new technology and related training.
