Career planning is a lifelong process of using information about yourself to make good career choices. We can equip you with the tools, strategies and resources to create your own career action plan.

The Career Development Center provides customers with a variety of information for current and future career choices including skills assessments, personal inventory evaluations, aptitude testing, employability skills training and career development counseling.  The primary purpose of the Career Development Center is to enhance and develop customers’ employability skills, assist individuals in obtaining meaningful employment and/or training opportunities, and develop a career plan for their future career aspirations.

Child Care Area

The on-site child care facility is open Monday-Thursday 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and serves children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old. Children between the ages of 6 years and 12 years old may only use the facility during non-school hours. Non-school hours include days when school is not in session as well as before and after school. The entire Workforce Development Center is closed for all major holidays. Customers who are using the child care facility must remain in the building at all times and children may only be in the child care facility for a maximum of three and a half hours per visit.
